Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 3 years of Psychiatric nursing experience.
  • Must maintain current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, ACLS, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI), annual PPD/chest x-ray, annual education on Confidentiality/Ethics/Boundaries & patient rights, Seclusion and Restraint and Elder Abuse.
  • Salaried position for 40 hour week. May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays to fill in as needed depending on staffing and patient census.
  • Communication is necessary to discuss and confer with staff and physicians on patient conditions.
  • Will be required to obtain CPI Instructor Certification and teach classes on a regular basis.

  • Knowledge of the basic sciences; physics, math, chemistry, anatomy and physiology.
  • Understanding of cardiovascular pharmacology, fundamentals of pulmonary and cardiovascular physiology.
  • High school graduate or equivalent having satisfactorily completed the NBRC prescribed one year program in an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Must have passed the NBRC examination for Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Must hold a currently valid NBRC certificate for both of these.
  • Must be currently licensed by the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

    Qualifications: 
  • Graduate of approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT registered or registry eligible. Must have a current Louisiana State license or have applied for a temporary license to work in Louisiana as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Knowledge and operation of Radiology imaging equipment. Has the ability to select technical factors to produce a quality diagnostic image. (Manual or Fixed techniques)
  • Ability to accurately position patients for Radiology procedures.
  • Knowledge of body anatomy and body habitus of patients.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record maintenance.
  • Ability to recognize life threatening conditions and implement basic life sustaining actions. BLS certification required.
  • Use of protective devices such as lead aprons, gloves, and shields. Wears radiation badges at neck line level to document any radiation received on a monthly basis. Pregnant employees will wear an additional fetal badge at the waist.
  • Desire to cross-train in various modalities.
  • Tolerance for high stress environment with complex, competing customer demands. Risk of exposure to infectious organisms and radiation.

    Qualifications: 
  • Vascular Registry required. ECHO/ARRT registered or registry eligible.
  • Minimum length of experience required or preferred for the job.
  • Specific skills (computer, written, oral, communication, etc.) required or preferred for the job.
  • Knowledge and operation of Ultrasound imaging equipment. Has the ability to select technical factors to produce a quality diagnostic image.
  • Ability to accurately position patients for Ultrasound procedures.
  • Knowledge of body anatomy and habitus.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry/record maintenance and recording of ECHO exams.
  • Ability to recognize life threatening conditions and implement basic life sustaining actions. BLS certification required.
  • Use of PPE and lead aprons if appropriate for procedure. Wears radiation badges at neck line level to document any radiation received on a monthly basis, if necessary.
  • Desire to cross-train in various modalities.
  • Tolerance for high stress environment with complex, competing customer demands. Risk of exposure to infectious organisms and radiation.
