Vascular Registry required. ECHO/ARRT registered or registry eligible.
Minimum length of experience required or preferred for the job.
Specific skills (computer, written, oral, communication, etc.) required or preferred for the job.
Knowledge and operation of Ultrasound imaging equipment. Has the ability to select technical factors to produce a quality diagnostic image.
Ability to accurately position patients for Ultrasound procedures.
Knowledge of body anatomy and habitus.
Basic computer skills for data entry/record maintenance and recording of ECHO exams.
Ability to recognize life threatening conditions and implement basic life sustaining actions. BLS certification required.
Use of PPE and lead aprons if appropriate for procedure. Wears radiation badges at neck line level to document any radiation received on a monthly basis, if necessary.
Desire to cross-train in various modalities.
Tolerance for high stress environment with complex, competing customer demands. Risk of exposure to infectious organisms and radiation.
PRN Position - Days & Nights
High School Diploma or equivalant.
Applicant must have completed Aide course or have equivalent experience.
Current CPR Certification.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and providing related bedside patient-care service. Understanding of standard techniques used in providing personal services for patient and in caring for equipment and supplies. Good understanding of basis of asepsis and sterile techniques to avoid infection of patients and self or contamination of equipment and supplies.
