• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Required to maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in Louisiana.
• Required to maintain a current certification in BLS and CPI.
• Required to complete annual restraint education.
• Required to have IV certification.
• Required to participate in annual Infection Prevention education.
• Required to follow Infection Prevention guidelines (i.e., proper use of isolation precautions, proper use of PPE, etc.)

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of medical terminology conveyed by physician during exam and/or review of systems. Preferred, but not required, completion of medical terminology course and anatomy/physiology course.
3. Ability to type words and numbers quickly and accurately. Preferred, but not required, completion of computer and/or keyboarding course.
4. Required to attend all mandatory inservices including departmental meetings.
5. Required to participate in monthly PI.
6. Required to have basic computer knowledge.
7. Required to have the ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
8. Required to pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.

1. Graduate of approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT registered or registry eligible. Must have a current Louisiana State license or have applied for a temporary license to work in Louisiana as a Radiologic Technologist.
2. Minimum length of experience required or preferred for the job.
3. Specific skills (computer, written, oral, communication, etc.) required or preferred for the job.
4. Knowledge and operation of Radiology imaging equipment. Has the ability to select technical factors to produce a quality diagnostic image. (Manual or Fixed techniques)
5. Ability to accurately position patients for Radiology procedures.
6. Knowledge of body anatomy and body habitus of patients.
7. Basic computer skills for data entry and record maintenance.
8. Ability to recognize life threatening conditions and implement basic life sustaining actions. BLS certification required.
9. Use of protective devices such as lead aprons, gloves, and shields. Wears radiation badges at neck line level to document any radiation received on a monthly basis.  Pregnant employees will wear an additional fetal badge at the waist. 
10. Desire to cross-train in various modalities.
11. Tolerance for high stress environment with complex, competing customer demands. Risk of exposure to infectious organisms and radiation.

• Current Registered Nurse license in Louisiana.

Unencumbered License either in Louisiana or Compact

Preferably with 1 year of Medical Surgical Experience and 6 months of Charge Nurse Experience

• M.D., Ph.D., M.S., B.S., or Associate degree, and Current Louisiana License in clinical laboratory science

• Vascular Registry required. ECHO/ARRT registered or registry eligible.
• Minimum length of experience required or preferred for the job.
• Specific skills (computer, written, oral, communication, etc.) required or preferred for the job.
• Knowledge and operation of Ultrasound imaging equipment. Has the ability to select technical factors to produce a quality diagnostic image.
• Ability to accurately position patients for Ultrasound procedures.
• Knowledge of body anatomy and habitus.
• Basic computer skills for data entry/record maintenance and recording of ECHO exams.
• Ability to recognize life threatening conditions and implement basic life sustaining actions. BLS certification required.
• Use of PPE and lead aprons if appropriate for procedure. Wears radiation badges at neck line level to document any radiation received on a monthly basis, if necessary.
