Full Service Laboratory
The Laboratory at Claiborne Memorial medical Center uses state of the art technology to analyze clinical samples. We serve both inpatients as well as outpatients and our Laboratory services are always on site and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for your convenience.
Our laboratory is inspected and accredited by COLA and our Medical Director is Board Certified in Medicine and Pathology through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
The lab offers an extensive menu of testing including:
- blood bank
- clinical chemistry
- coagulation
- hematology
- immunology
- microbiology
- serology
- urinalysis
The laboratory employees consist of well-trained educated professionals dedicated to providing you the highest quality of care available. Our Medical Laboratory Scientist are all state licensed, have Bachelor of Science degrees, attend a full year of clinical internship, and pass a national certifying exam prior to employment.
